So, 25 Juni 2006 03:31 |

Jens (not any flavour of Jen nor Jenny) of this afparish
will be in London on Saturday, July 15th, from about three
in the afternoon (15:00).
He'll arrive at Victoria coach Station, and his hotel is near Paddington
Station - or so it claims.
So, we could meet Jens at Victoria and carry him and his luggage to his
hotel. Or not, as that'd be tiring, and constantly moving would leave
out people who didn't get to the starting point promptly.
I propose instead to have a meet inna pub, where it's easier to find
people, even if one shows up late.
Also, it's out of the sun, and it is
easy to obtain drinks.( Well, relatively easy. It is still London, so
drinks won't be very cheap).
At this point, suggestions for a pub would be welcomed. Also
declarations of intent for participating in the Jens meet.
But a place for it would be useful.

I believe at this point someone will mention The Green Man. I'm not
sure that's even *in* London, but I think it is.

Can't help you there, I'm afraid. I haven't been to a pub in London for
a couple of years. I've heard Green Man has changed management and
become bad, then changed management again with unknown results.

I might be able to come in a bit later on, but I'll be busy with a show
until around 18.00

1. You have a good point - It is easy to get around in the middle of London,
so Soho could well work.

Due to a sudden death in the family, our holiday in England has been
cancelled. I may come to London for the weekend of the fifteenth anyway;
I'll decide during this week.
